Norm Bobay, founder and president of hireMAX, began Life Perspectives International (LPI) in 1991 located in Fort Wayne, IN. They offered, on a national basis, management testing and development programs and candidate pre-screening services with an emphasis on sales personnel. They packaged in software format The Total Salesperson Profile measuring three key areas of sales: Skills, Behaviors and Motivations.
In July of 1996 they became known as Baden Employee Selection & Development Services, a subdivision of Baden, Gage and Schroeder, LLC (BG&S), a large privately held Fort Wayne, IN Consulting group. It was also during this time that the registered name of hireMAX was created for branding purposes. With an expanding BG&S client list and the Internet, growth now included international clients. Some of the countries they have serviced include Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, China, Philippines and of course Canada. hireMAX began offering a wide variety of candidate pre-screening and employee developmental assessment programs and workshops.
Due to family reasons, Norm Bobay created Bobay and Associates, Inc. DBA hireMAX In July of 2004, and moved the company to Fort Worth, TX. The hireMAX client list now began to include such prominent companies as: Ambassador Steel, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cabela's, DuPont Hospital, Kelley Automotive Group, McDonald's Corp., SunCom Wireless, Western Newspapers, and many more. As a consultant to many diverse and prominent companies hireMAX expanded their offerings again becoming an employer advocate for assessments, recommending and putting together packages according to the clients needs rather than insisting on one particular assessment.
On November 1st of 2007, hireMAX added two major offerings to their services: Career Search and Career Staffing. With the expansion of services and staff, hireMAX is now in position to become a full service organization to companies and individuals offering long-term employment solutions.
